    My history with Yelpers goes all the way back to July '09 when I went to my first Toronto Yelp Event (Kenzo Ramen).
    If I had been scared to go, I never would've met all the weird, wacky, and wonderful Yelpers I now know today.

    So don't be scared, scurred, scarred, skurred.

    Just come out to an event and you will realize that my scariness is just a whole lot of  puffed feathers and hot air.

    Since this topic was first posted, I've written out  my response and deleted it about a dozen times.  That's how intimidated I am!  OK.  Here goes nuthin'.

    I'd like to meet:

    - Kat - the gal with the most fun job in the city!  Always makes me laugh.
    - Christine - I think we had a bit of a bond over Artisano's, and I think we have several things in common.
    - Susan - I want to meet her so that I won't fear her anymore.
    - Andrew - He makes me laugh many times each day.  (Thank you, Andrew!)
    - Karl - Always enjoy reading what Karl has to say, although I think I'd bore him to death.
    - Ariel - Really enjoy his reviews, too, and I'd love to hear about his world travels.
    - Vivek - Also makes me laugh, even if sometimes it's that nervous kind of laughter.  ;-)

    The truth is, Yelpers are so much more likable IRL. It's always a thrill when I've been reading someone's reviews and I meet the real, live version of that person to bring life to their words.

    @Min Min....txs. for sharing that information about that past member.  She PM'd me 5 times with some fucked up messages and made some very threatening comments.   I've taken a lot of backdoor criticism by one particular Yelper here who feels that by my posting some of her comments that I drove her away from Yelp.  It's good to know that I wasn't the only person that was on the receiving end of her wackiness.  So txs. again for sharing that tidbit.  

    @Carolyn....loved to go to the Sandwich Box with you.  Ain't never been yet. Keep hearing good things about it.  I'm downtown often (even tomrrow....nudge nudge hint hint :)
