I like the Red Lantern's martini, Souz Dal's...well...anything.  And love Crooked Star's prices!

When you want to be shaken or stirred, where do you go?  What do you get?   Who has the best deals?

    I find that anything served in a fancy glass makes it taste thirty times better. Yes, I measured quantitatively.

    Unless I'm sloshed, and then the fancy glasses just get in the way.

    I love the caipirinha at Souz Dal, and the Painless Brazilian at Sidecar. Straight up strawberry cachaca, lime and egg whites. I guess I really like cachaca...and anything with egg whites (Miriam W introduced me to this!).

    So what's everyone's favourite cocktail these days, and where do you go to get one expertly made?

    Eat My Martini has a Tuesday night martini special: $5. Or they did, it was about two years ago.

    But the last time I was there, it was closed and the resto next door Veni Vini Vici had the special. The $5 list included a lot of variety of flavours and I tried at least 5 different ones, and paid the price of a glorious hangover the next day.

    Personally I hardly ever order a martini but if I do I like the crantini.

    Love the Painless Brazilian at Sidecar.  The thought of egg whites grossed me out, but it turned out to be the best drink ever.  I think Sidecar also has one with an egg yolk - not sure if I would go that far.

    Chris - Sidecar's 'Badass' Mojito is also quite good.  I dare you to compare to Milestones'.  They are so popular they ran out of mint last time I was there!

    I was at Rushton's on St. Clair West recently and noticed they have an extensive cocktail list.  Has anyone tried their cocktails?

    Camp 4 makes some pretty wicked mixed drinks. Think Old Fashions over martini's, though I have had a wicked margarita there as well.

    I retract my earlier statement.  Since the Elite event last week, FOTES has the best Mojito I've had.

    I go to a friends house and they pamper me with their alcohol mixing skills.
    So, I suggest making friends with bar tenders and well off young folk. Maybe kids with rich parents.
