What to do for the long weekend in the GTA?

Last long weekend of summer and I need some tips. Here's what I don't want to do: go to Niagara Falls! Now this is what I have been dying to do this summer but wasn't sure where to go: spend a day at the outdoor swimming pool of a nice hotel, tanning and sipping on cocktails. Ideally, a rooftop swimming pool.

Where should I go?

    There's also the pool at Polson Pier (formerly the Docks).

    After seeing who/what went into the pool(s) at the Docks, I wouldn't step into that water with a hazmat suit on.

    Would be a good weekend for doing ANYTHING outside as it's only going to be 20 degrees both Sat & Sun.  Drinks on the patio somewhere or the Ex here I come.

    Bike around of course!  Hopefully out of the city at first to escape the traffic nightmare of too many poorly trained drivers who don't know the rules of the road.

    Once I return I'll probably go somewhere they serve something that will have enough carbs to satisfy a cubicle-farm-dweller for about a week.

    Thompson hotel IS reserved for guests "and VIPs", so wear something...erm..."intriguing" and you may get in.

    So disappointed with the weather as I REALLY wanted to swim in a pool that won't cost me a trip to the ER after the first dive :(
