Wow. this was the funniest movie I've seen in a long time. I thought I was going to be FREAKED out when I saw the trailer, scared of going in the water and what might come out.

But the best parts were:
a) 3d boobies (so the boys kept saying) - except the best looking guy got killed off within 2sec
b) ridiculousness
c) christopher lloyd freaking out and almost sputtering out 'we need a flux capacitor!!!'
d) more ridiculousness
e) jerry oconnell playing a greasy porn director
oh there is so much more.

If you want a good laugh, go see this movie! I'm NOT KIDDING.

    Laura, I can't believe you liked it!  There were rumours going around that bed bugs were in the Scotiabank Theatre.  It proved out to be wrong, but my guess is they actually WERE there.  After seeing this sexist yawnfest, they probably died from sheer boredom!!

    I wasn't expecting the boobies and christopher lloyd.  I liked it but only because I was totally expecting to be scared of going camping this weekend or something. Totally not what I was expecting.

    some trivia: This movie is a remake of a remake (starring Mila Kunis) of James Cameron first film , which was a sequel to the original which was a parody of Jaws

    I found the movie more of a comedy rather than a horror. And in the trailer they showed the end of the movie which tells you than all you need to do is watch the trailer and then you've seen the movie.

    You had me at 3D boobies. Hah hah, but seriously I wish this 3D fad wasn't being hard sold as the greatest thing since toast. For the odd B movie it's cool but now all big budget films are 3Dfied. Will not be seeing Tron in 3D.

    I saw it tonight. 3D boobies were fine. A man's rumpus baton is severed and consumed by a fish. Well, partially consumed. So. Be warned. Didn't like heroic scientist guy was smoked at the end. This movie is best enjoyed when there's a large crowd. Seeing it with only 8 other people makes you feel like a pervert. Who was that hot hot kiwi boobie woman? She was nice eye candy.

    I'm disturbed the final harry potter movie is 3d or something. My showing had a preview for that. I like the HP movies but I really find 3D adds nothing ultimately and just distracts from the story and the cinematography.

    @Karl. I agree. I saw Step Up 3d and it totally was distracting and distorted the dancing.  This movie was so campy that it didn't really detract that much.  And on top of the that, it's not like the 3d adds anything. There's nothing shooting at me or flying across....

    I saw Avatar, Alice & Final Destination all in 3D & the only one that did anything for me was Destination.  It was funny when everyone around you was ducking from a tire being winged at them.  It must be the scare factor I love.  Save the boobies & wieners for the Playboy Channel.  Resident Evil:Afterlife 3D is next on my list, then Saw.        I can't explain it, but even when I was a kid, one of my favourite things at the fair or CNE were the spookhouses.           That may explain why we're going to Canada's Wonderland for the Halloween Haunt this year.  (First time for me).
