Alright people, we have a bevy of iPhone users here - and inquiring minds need to know - what are your must have apps?

For me this is what I use the most:

Facebook
Cash Flow Free - it allows me to keep track of spending - and I also use it to track money for my business
Sol Free - Decent array of solitaire
Google - It voice searches or you can type in your search
Flixster - All the movies playing in the city, very very handy
Bejeweled 2 - wastes glorious hours whilst I sit on the stupid 501 detours
Yelp - obviously
FastShop - free and allows me to carry a shopping list around
FMC - free app that let's me track ....... girlie stuff.  Super handy actually.

Whatchya got peeps?  I need to know!

Wow.  Some of these sound really interesting!

@Randy -  I find Facebook highly unreliable, too.  It's frustrating, and it's missing a lot of necessary functions.

(I have BubbleWrap, too. All the fun without having to order something breakable just to get it!)

    8/12/2009 Abby R. says:

Okay guys - read this carefully!!!

If you are going to install the new iphone software on your iphone then first sync (do not agree to update the software).  After you've sync'd then have a go but be forwarned - it killed my iphone and I can't get into the genius bar until Friday.

Apparently, it's happened to my friend's girlfriend too.  So sync first!!  I am so pissed!

  6. 8/12/2009 Carolyn B. says:

How awful, Abby.  If that happened to me, I'd be hugely pissed, too ... and lost and panicky and not able to function properly.  (I may have a slight addiction happening.)  I hope they can fix you quickly.

Well, I was on the phone with apple - and as they were telling me that I was no longer eligible for free phone tech support the iphone came alive.  No idea.  It's restoring now.

Anyways, avoid the update.  It'll update you in all the wrong places!

    8/12/2009 Randy "200 by Dec. 31" G. says:

Abby, I don't know what went wrong with your phone... but if it's the 3.0.1 update you're referring to, it fixes a critical security problem with the 3.0.0 software, and MUST (not even SHOULD) be installed by all users.

The 3.0.0 version (and earlier) has a problem where someone can run their own programs on your phone - and eventually take it over - just by sending text messages. You wouldn't even need to see the messages arrive.

Is said "security problem" at all related to your army of man-killing-value-village-robo ts? :)

Thanks for the heads up.  I'll give it another go tomorrow when I have a few hours available for panicking and restoring.
