What are the best shops to buy and service folding bikes in the GTA? I have a Dahon and need some parts. I bought mine off e-bay.

That's a tough one.  I've only seen folding bikes being given away for contests in Toronto.  I've never actually seen one for sale in a store.  My suggestion would be to search out bike shops on Yelp and make a few phone calls.  The shops might be able to point you in the right direction.  Then you can use the reviews for the shops to see if you want to deal with them or not.

OMG, folding bikes in the bike theft capital of North America?  Let's make it even easier for these people to steal our bikes!

Paul - bike theft is one of the reasons why you get a folding bike. You don't lock it, you take it with you. I found Urbane Cycle John & Queen. Looks good.

Well call me stupid!  I didn't know they had such a thing.  May have to check it out myself as schlepping mine up & down my stairs can be tiresome.

Paul - if you are interested I would recommend Dahon. They have some great youtube videos showing the folding mechanism and some of the benefits a folding commuting bike. The D3 Curve looks like a great commuter - I have the Mu - it's super light and fits easily in the trunk of my car or under my desk.

Thanks for the tip Earl.  They've got some bikes on there I wouldn't mind owning including the folding electric bike.  Toys for big boys.

You can find Dahon at the MEC, so they probably can have them serviced too.
