    Definitely visit Joe Fresh.

    (and other locations around Toronto)

All the clothes are cute and on trend but better quality than H&M. I always do a double take when I see the price: $40 for a fall jacket, $25-35 for sweaters, $10-$16 for cotton tops, $20 for ballet flats, etc.

Check out their website for the fall collection.

if you're looking for vintage try value village (stores around the city) and kensington village (a couple streets with thrift shops).
for cheap "high-end", try holt at vaughn mills mall.
and generally, cheap and not available in the states - joe fresh (like susan said above)

Thanks for all the suggestions.  Will definitely try the Joe Fresh and Winners for the kids, whilst my wife and I will try to sneak away for some vintage bargains.  Thanks!!!

I have to say you'd probably be inclinded to find much better deals in Penn.

There is the Dixie Outlet Mall in Mississauga and they have some pretty decent deals, but its usually last seasons... so there is a tonn of summer stuff on sale.

Vaughan Mills is also an outlet mall, sometimes there are deals to be had there. Avoid it on a weekend though.
