I'm going to second Toronto Island but especially Ward's Island (http://www.yelp.ca/biz...), which is the most peaceful and quaint of the islands. You can rent a bike and cycle around the island or just walk through the 'streets' and watch the island folk do some gardening or socializing with their neighbours.

Patio season...it's coming for real!! I'm hoping to check out Cadillac Lounge, The Rhino, Pauper's, Hemingway's this spring/summer.
