I am  trying to find a good, reliable house cleaner on the North Shore. One who will show  up when he/she says they will and who will actually move furniture etc....Does such a thing exsist???

    I'm not sure. I've neverused a house cleaning service. But have you tried Molly Maid or there's another one I saw calledGreen Cleaners or something.

    Susan - most cleaners will not move furniture because they fear an injury and will lose their jobs if they have a lost time injury. I've had cleaners for decades and the best are the ones who are referred by neighbours.

    The worst I ever had were the company ones who arrive 3 or 4 in a car with logos on it - the best was an independent that I had for 7 years - she even painted my place!
