Heading to Canada this weekend. Would love to get some help on planning out a trip (me and my bf). Having a hard time filling in activities!  We are arriving around 5:00pm on Saturday. Leaving Monday Morning.

Saturday Plan:
Skylon Tower
Walk the Canadian Side Promenade (Night)
Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort

Sunday Plan:
Maid of the Mist
Whirlpool Aero Car
Journey behind the Falls

As you can see... we dont have much penciled in. Any help would be great :(

P.S.
Is the Cave of the Winds only accessible for the US side?

It seems like you have enough already.  You will also be stopping to eat remember, I suggest packing a lunch for Sunday and eating in one of the parks.  You will mostly find horrible chain restaurants in the area anyways.  There is also the aquarium near by.

The food is awful in most of the places.  The one exception to this is the buffet at the Fallsview casino.  Definite must visit, especially since you will be right there.  I've heard the giant ferris wheel is awesome, but I have not been on it yet.  Have fun!

Be sure to purchase the NF Adventure Pass: http://www.niagarapark... (also available at a number of booths in NF, not just online.)   I just got back from NF and that pass was totally *worth it*.

As well, the best place for breakfast is the Hiton's Grand Caffe for $14/person.

If you're a rib fan, then the Tony Roma's (two locations to choose from) is a great place for all-you-can-eat with four great flavours to choose from.  There were four of us, each choosing a different flavour, so we were able to try each one out by sharing.

Marineland is also a great place to go for some fun; we got there at 10 am and were done at about 3 pm - there were *no* line-ups, which meant we could go on every ride more than once.

The ferris wheel was fun, but costly.  It's one of those things that you'd do once for the experience, but that would be about it.

I agree with Justin. Not too many great places to eat, but the buffet at the Fallsview Casino is worth the trip and the money!

Try Anticas pizzarie on Victoria Ave. Good personal size pizzas. Nice walking trail south of the falls. And also nice path down to the whirlpool (salmon are spawning). Not to busy this time of year, no lines or traffic. If you head down to niagara on the lake try The Old Winery.

If you can make time for a quick trip up to Lewiston, NY (not far from Niagara Falls at all!), stop over at the Our Lady Of Fatima Shrine.  It has a insane amount of religious statues that is worth just walking around for a bit.

Also, if you want great wings, check out 'The Daily Planet' over on the Canadian side - I haven't been there in a LOONG time but used to practically live there years ago.  Great vibe.

Brandon V.  I believe The Daily Planet is no more. Different name now, that area has changed quite a bit. More art stores, bistros and restaurants now. A lot cleaner looking too.

No loss. Daily planet didn't last for a reason.  You paid for the name alone.  Was not a fan

Daily planet is now a sports bar.. Se7en is a nice bar to check out in the falls as well as vice lounge but If you are looking to see the real club scene in the niagara region head out to saint Paul street down town saint catharines I've lived here for a while and it's definatly the largest grouping of ppl and bars on one street..
