Hi.  It's my best friend's birthday, so we are coming to Montreal Friday-Sunday.  I've never been there before - any recommendations about places to go, things to do?  Both of us are on super-cheap grad student budgets and want to relax.    I'd like to find some where to take her for dinner on her birthday, a place to go listen to live music Friday or Saturday night (any good jazz bars? or good local bands?) and maybe somewhere for brunch on Sunday...

Any help would be much appreciated, yelpers!
