I won a trip for two to New Zealand which i will probably have to take this summer ie their winter.  Has anybody ever been there and would have any suggestions about where to go, what to see, what to do and WHAT TO WEAR in july or august? Cost is not a problem as the money to be used is over $10,000.  Any suggestions will be appreciated! I dont know anyone who has travelled there so thought yelpers might have travelled there.....

    I haven't been to New Zealand, but i can highly recommend the Let's Go guidebooks for finding stuff to do and places to eat. They have only steered me wrong in Paris.
