I'm going to be in montreal this weekend and I"m looking for a killer brunch.  Something downtown in preferable - although I'm with car and willing to travel a bit.  Ideas?

    "Le Montrealais" at the Queen Elizabeth downtown is hands down my favorite brunch on Sunday. Actually, I should add a review since the existing ones does not give it proper credit. I have been coming there for brunch for years, the selection is amazing, as is the quality and service. This is the brunch not to be missed in town! Killer Champagne Brunch it is... do reserve.

    I had the weekend brunch buffet at the Casino de Montreal and thoroughly enjoyed it.  There was a guitar player/lounge singer on the weekend.  Selection is varied, and service is reliably prompt and friendly.  Parking is free, and it's just an exit or two from downtown.  Start from Berri (perpendicular to Rene Levesque) and Viger.  Hop on the 720 West.  Take 10 East to Exit 2 Port of Montreal.  Follow signs.
    Thanks Stephane, good to have another option for my next trip up there too!
