My mom and I are traveling to Alberta, Canada this summer and are staying at Lake Louise(2 nights), Jasper(2 nights), and Banff(6 nights).  I have been a little overwhelmed with the travel plans, so I thought maybe if you've been to any of those places, you could make a suggestion as to the activities not to miss.  We are excited to do some outdoor activities like horseback riding, and my mom wants to take her first golf lesson.  Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

There is horseback riding in Banff, I'm not sure how much it costs but the trails look nice.

Banff - don't miss the Hot Springs, the Gondola ride up to the mountain top, take a walk around the Banff Springs Hotel - simply gorgeous, have the Sunday buffet at the Banff Springs Hotel - a little pricey but oh, so good!

Johnston Canyon - on the way to Lake Louise - nice hike - waterfalls

    Jasper - Miette Hot Springs

I highly reccomend dinner at Bumpers in Banff.  Have the "Pile o' Bones".  The best beef ribs you will eat, and great value.  Skip the salad bar or you won't have enough room!

Have a great time on your trip!

These are great suggestions.  Are you going to go to the Columbia Icefields?  They are on highway 93 between Jasper and Banff.
