Oops! Tardy on my party review again! This was a keen event. The food was better than I expected and the waitresses ferrying it around were very nice. I got to chat up some friends I hadn't seen out in a while so it was a great evening even though I…More »

I am seriously tardy on this review but this was a great elite event and Lucky Strike was definitely up to the challenge of keeping a huge party running smoothly. There were plenty of staff to keep the food and drink coming so everyone got to sample…More »

Despite the heat & humidity this was a pretty nice shindig. The space is nice with some low key and bubbly decor. I think we were pushing the max Yelper capacity limit with it though. The food was not the best I have had but it was in ample amounts.…More »

Valkyrie needs food badly! This was the battle cry that led us out into the night after an awesome time drinking & dancing. This really was an awesome start to a new year of eliteness! There were a lot of new & old Yelpers there without it being…More »

Maybe the reviews over-hyped this for me. From looking at the pictures and reviews of multiple Willy Wonka references I was underwhelmed upon arriving. Just wasn't getting it. It has more of a lounge vibe than a chocolate factory of whimsy. I guess…More »
This was a fun event but then I love haunted houses. The only thing that makes them more fun is a group of people that contains at least 3 smart-asses and 2 screamers. Hilarity ensues followed by comforting hugs at the end. Thanks Felicia!

This was fun even if I was only there as a drive by on the Igor birthday festivities train. Many thanks to the DC Yelp gate keepers for letting me sneek his mom! Also much love to Susan & the band for singing to Igor!

This was tons of fun. I think I saw almost everyone I know from the Yelp there and got to sing along with a lot of Billy Joel, Journey, and other piano driven hits. I grabbed a seat up front by the pianos and once the place got crowded I was a little…More »
Good times and bunny ears. Need I elaborate? Well I will anyway for those that missed out. Upstairs at Prive is a nice space with a bar flanked by two sit down areas, not the best layout for the large gathering we had, because the bar area was super…More »

This event was pretty low key and fun. Arriving there a little early I took advantage of the "first come first served" adage and settle up with a hot tottie. It was nice with a good tequila to cider ratio. I only tried one of the buttons of spinach…More »

This really was a great event. The space was large and nice. There was plenty of room for all the participating vendors to be set up on top of the gallery's installations, and still have enough room to move around from room to room and socialize.

What can I say? The crowd was huge! Lots and lots of new Yelpers making it out. The restaurant seems like a nice little place tucked away on Spring Garden. Sucks that the view out the windows in the front is of the Spaghetti Warehouse, but what are…More »
