The best asset The Palace Kitchen has is the atmosphere. It feels like you're in a dark and cozy mountain lodge. The next best thing is the food. It's a mixture of fancy and rustic. The service is also good, but that's expected since they must…More »

They've got all the great little things a good bakery should have: a number of tasty sandwiches on the best bread in the world, quiche, buns, coffee, pastries, cookies, etc. The best. Yum.

One of the best burgers in town.
This place is a fun, relaxed, friendly, ecofriendly? restaurant in Belltown. Nice staff. Great menu. Yummy food. I definitely recommend it.
It's sort of like Lola, which I also enjoy.

Yummy izakaya. Fun. Classy. Nice neighborhood. I give them 5-stars for atmosphere and menu variety. The food is 3 or 4 stars but if you want an unique experience with lots of fun stuff to try, this place is for you. It's perfect for a big group…More »
I used to love coming here in the early 90s when it was called the Romper Room. And now it's a lounge/karaoke/restaurant. They claim to be Hawaiian but there's not much Hawaiian food on the menu. The atmosphere is fun. The people are somewhat…More »

A great restaurant for people who want a predictable American dinning experience that is slightly left of center in a good way. You can tell they take pride in the dining experience. Great service.

Cool little hip lounge with cool little hip food served by cool little hip waitresses on cool little hip plates.
The 2nd best octopus salad in Seattle.
If you LOVE music, then you'll probably love the museum.
If you merely LISTEN to music and aren't interested in minutia (e.g., how Louie Louie was recorded), then this is not the place for you.

It's basically an above-average traditional Japanese (American-style) restaurant with some French menu items (like escargot). It's small and in an odd part of Belltown, so it doesn't seem inviting, but once inside, I felt comfy.
I would put this in…More »
Great burger at lunch!

Great atmosphere for having a casual drink and watching ferries. Pricey, classy, great service, a little slow but no biggie. The food wasn't phenomenal. Can't beat the view though.
I've never had a bad time there. The food is good -- not gourmet but tasty. The prices are low. The atmosphere is great. You'll always get a seat since the place is huge, but parking might be tough at night.
Unfortunately for my arteries, I have been compulsively eating every burger in Seattle. The reuben burger at Dope is the best burger I've had so far. It is perfect.

I was going to give it 3 stars, but I'll bump it up to 4 because it's one of the only jazz bars in Seattle. And everyone knows that jazz is just cool to listen to at night with a drink.
