Whistler has some hidden places with good value and this is one of them. If you come to Whistler for attentive waiters, high quality sushi and intimate atmosphere, you should probably look elsewhere. However, if you like good value (read: reasonable…More »
A great place for apres or to watch the game. Always a good time!
The food seems to be mostly deep-fried, but that's okay after a big day on the mountain. Or maybe that's all I've eaten - the fries are first-rate!
A great patio for apres with some great beers and nachos!
Dubh Linn Gate is a good alternative to the usual apres places because it's less crowded and noisy than the other usual suspects.
The food is authentic and very good, but they charge extra for rice. I've been here twice and they've made the same mistake twice - by adding paneer to a dish that normally does not have paneer. It wasn't stated on the menu either. They made it right…More »
The best (veggie) burger in town! Actually, I think the spicy lentil burger is the best burger I've had - animal or not!
Splitz is reasonably priced, has tons of toppings, including salsa and sauerkraut! The staff is friendly and always greet you with…More »
I've been here only a handful of times over the past few years, but I've always had a good experience. It a bit out of the core of the village, but still close. I find the restaurant is well lit, not too noisy and the staff are friendly.
Everything…More »
I came here for breakfast with a friend. She had the breakfast special which consisted of eggs, meat, home fries, toast and coffee. I had home fries and pancakes. It was mid-week and it wasn't very busy but we found the service a bit slow and…More »
I don't drink coffee so I'm not the fan of the bean. But I do like chocolate (who doesn't?!). Blendz does hot chocolate with real chocolate chips (Belgian!) and soy milk too!
They're probably the only shop with free wi-fi in the village.
I've heard good reviews about this place so had to come here and experience it.
I had my standard veggie burrito, however, the person behind the counter wasn't very adept at rolling the burrito so it fell apart when I handled it.
The price is…More »
Good, not great, but very satisfying Indian food that is affordable in Whistler (yay!).
I've been there twice so far and it's been a great experience both times. They have thus far had specials. The first time it was a curry and a beer for $7. The…More »
I ate here with some friends from out of town - usually that's the only time I go to nicer restaurants in Whistler. I got a recommendation from a friend (a local).
We had some edamame as an appetizer - it was cold, but very tasty. I had the spicy thai…More »
Great apres, great food, and great atmosphere. What more could one want?
The also have a great patio on warm winter days.
The is the best thing about Creekside.
I was introduced to this place by a skier in the gondola lineup eating a breakfast burrito because it smelled sooo good!
I've eaten at Ingrid's several times and it's always been good - breakfast burritos, veggie burgers and salads! Lots of vegetarian…More »
The veggie burger is awesome - it's a portobello mushroom with some great fixins on it. The pot pie is also awesome as are the wedge yam fries!
You also can't beat $6 double highballs!
Three below is underground and has no windows - at least to the outside. The windows face the movie… Read more »
I've only ever had two things on the menu - the Whistler specialty - yam fries and the veggie burger. Recently, the veggie burger changed from a garden veggie patty to a portobello mushroom with some sort of gooey sweet red pepper sauce on top.

I haven't been here in over ten years and I've been here twice in the last two weeks! I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed it!
It is a bit on the pricey side because it's done by weight and I can eat my weight in food! However, there are lots of choices,…More »
A nice place for a quick snack or lunch. A great place to buy thermal socks, underwear or if you want a souvenir of Whistler Blackcomb. The staff are always friendly and smiling!
The 'downtown' version of the on-mountain restaurants at the base of Blackcomb. I discovered this place when I worked as an instructor for the Whistler Schools program. If I didn't teach these kids I would have never discovered the Wizard Grill!
It's…More »
My favourite après spot at the base of my favourite mountain! There's a nice mix of locals and visitors here all having fun. It's a popular place for WB staff as well because of good prices and specials on drinks and food.
There's usually a daily…More »
Suishy peas in Squish!
I was alerted to this place by a housemate who hails from the UK. He obviously knows his fish & chip shops! As a vegetarian, I don't eat fish, but they did happen to have a veggie burger - it was just okay, but that's…More »
This place used to be cool - in 1990. I'm not so sure now. It's now a place we go when we can't get in anywhere else.
Beer is average and the food is not very memorable. I had veggie burgers the last few times here, but I can't really remember what…More »
After several bouts of non-existant service and unfriendly staff I'm dropping off some stars. I'm miffed about the service because we had to wait until we flagged down the staff. Once I had to flag down a manager to get someone to serve us. The worst…More »

Another great lounge, very relaxed and chilled.
A fireplace, big seats and lots of friends and beers make this a fun place to be!
I've lived in the hood for over a year, and I've only recently eaten here. The food appears to made fresh. I had some primavera pasta and it came with a choice of various breads. The portions are of average size but it was just the right amount and I…More »
This is my favourite on-mountain restaurant (it's at the base of the Jersey Cream and Glacier Express chairs). They have the most choice, has the most seating (Roundhouse might have more, but it seems much busier). I've been on the mountain almost…More »
I'm with Skylar here. If you don't have to eat here, go elsewhere. I've never seen the general public eat here. It's mainly for school groups that are in Whistler for day trips.
The menu is limited to pizza, burgers, fries, cookies, soft drinks, junk…More »
It's an upscale lounge in a nice hotel. I can't call it good value, but it does have a nice atmosphere. I come here maybe three times a year and I never have more than one drink per visit. That's about all I can afford!
The cheapest glass of wine is…More »
I've only ever been here for lunch and maybe dinner. But I've had the same thing each time because the vegetarian options are fairly limited. The veggie burger is okay and the fries are good. I've also had a salad which was also okay. It's a diner…More »
This place is shiny and new for Whistler this past year (2010). It's fairly spacious - but I've never seen it busy either. They have a nice patio to watch people in the summertime.
The food is pretty pedestrian, but there are a few veg-friendly items.…More »

It's big - it's a bar on one side and a dining room on the other side. I came here fairly late with a friend and the bar portion was packed and noisy. There were only a few people in the dining room, but they let us sit in there anyway.
I had a veggie…More »
