I've got nothing but fives stars for the Venetian. I think I love you! My first trip (some years back) ever to Vegas, we stayed at the Venetian. It rocked and we had such a good time. The suites and the bathroom were a great size. The bed was very…More »
In 2003, I received my first massage ever and it was at Canyon Ranch. It was magical and to this day, whenever I'm in the area, I try and get a massage from this spa. They have everything a eucalyptus steam room, whirlpool, and sauna. Huge showers…More »

I feel like the monorail in Vegas is the best kept secret for people in the know in Vegas. Yes, newbies are the ones paying $30 in taxis to go down the strip one way. (Heaven forbid anyone actually walk off their buffet meals!) For the money they…More »
I like to buy charms from places I visit to add to my charm bracelet. Of course, I've seen Pawn Stars and we were pretty close to them. The parking lot was busy and the shop was too. They had some neat things, as far as swords etc, but I'm not a…More »
The Tropicana was renovated and the hotel and casino looked great! The hotel also smells like Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen. The lotion in the bathroom also smells like the beach. They did an excellent job with the ventilation too. I'd recommend this…More »

McCarran is probably 3 3/4 stars. We usually arrive late and leave late too. Having said that, the airport isn't really dirty but I'm sure the cleaning crew has already cleaned from the mad rush of unlucky broke people flying home. What I really…More »
The drive is too long to return cars. Once we got there, the return process was easy and there was a bus waiting to take us to the airport. It wasn't bad but I've had better and shorter rental car returns.

MGM is too big and it is always crowded. Having said that, they do have a lot of restaurants inside and some kitties to look at near the entrance. I don't like how dark it is either. The monorail station is inside MGM and of course, we had to walk…More »

Sure there are a lot of buffets in Vegas. What do you want? Quality or quantity? If you choose the latter, than the Bellagio is for you! Seriously, they have mastered everything. The prime rib was phenomenal and the pizzas were gourmet. The…More »

Mandara was really about a 3 3/4 stars spa but they really fumbled the ball at the end. I got a fantastic deal from http://travelzoo.com for a massage, body scrub, and a scalp treatment for under $100. I've never been to Mandara Spa but thought I'd…More »

We had lunch here and it was good. I'm by no means a Mexican aficionado. The salsa had a little bit of a kick to it that we liked. I ordered the verde burrito and it was pretty big. The place wasn't busy, so we were in and out in no time.
