Attention students - amazing Monday deal - 50% off. I discovered this as I was randomly walking by on the way to the library. I filled up a medium container of food for about $10 - which really cost me $5. I did however have to be strategic -…More »

This restaurant is amazing for vegetarians and meat -eaters. A great selection of salads, wraps, sandwiches + raw pad thai and zucchinni pasta. I tried a currant, hemp, pumpkin seed, black olive salad and tasted a friend's taco wrap that had nut nut…More »
The cooler full of vegan jars of soup caught my eye as I was walking home. I've never been here for a yoga class, but I was pretty excited to see Urban Herbivore move into the area. I visited before the lunch hour, so I bought two jars to go - a…More »
Freshii can be a great, healthy lunch option, but there are some rules I've learned when it comes to ordering:
1) Custom order everything or it will be full of random sauces, rice and noodles.
2) Order a salad -They have a huge selection of toppings…More »

I haven't had Pho since I became a vegetarian (2006), so I love that they have a vegan option! It was a great rainy day meal - huge, filling, delicous - very comforting. The service was fast/friendly too. I definitely recommend.

I've been to Utopia many times, but I have never reviewed it. I used to reallly enjoy this place, but I think it's probably more enjoyable in the summer or for take-out only.
As a vegetarian, I've always been a fan of their menu because you can…More »

I was looking for a cute brunch spot near Yonge/Bloor and Yelp brought me to Lola's! It's a very cute restaurant located a block south of Bloor on Church St - very close to Yonge station. The restaurant is in an old large house, and is beautifully…More »
I've been to ChuChai the last two times I visited Montreal and I've had great experiences both times. The restaurant serves all vegetarian Thai food and has 'fake' duck, shrimp, beef, chicken, as well as plain vegetarian and tofu dishes. I'm not…More »

As a vegetarian, I really appreciate that places like White Lotus exist, however, this restaurant really seems to fail on execution. I've been to a lot of really great restuarants that do some very tasty/creative things with mock meat, but this…More »

My new favourite spot for pizza slices.
If you're a vegetarian, it's very exciting to go to a pizza slice spot and see meat-free slices available that do not consist of the standard: tomatoes, mushroom, green pepper - so boring!
