Make sure you get yourself a room on the highest floor possible facing the water. Otherwise you'll be stuck in a sad little room that you paid much too much for and you'll wish you had checked Yelp a little bit more before agreeing to room 412.

Any hotel that provides telescopes in the room automatically gets five stars from me! The fact that you can point the telescope at any number of things out of your sweeping panoramic view of downtown Vancouver makes the flat screen TV seem trivial.
