I have been to Drakesbad several times. The rooms are a bit small and the facility has it's rustic touches. But there is so much that this place has to offer:
A beautiful setting within Lassen National Park.
Fresh air (except at the geothermal spots)…More »
Gayle and I came here as part of a time share deal. Otherwise, we probably couldn't afford it. And the mandatory time share presentation was low key, fun and interesting, even after we made it clear that for now we were not interested in buying.

This is where I usually stay when I'm in town on business. It's right in the middle of the old city and by foot, you can walk around the city on top of the Roman walls, go to the track, go to the river to hang out or take a boat ride, shop, take in…More »

I'm in Anacortes for the week on business. The Team Lead made arrangements for us to stay at one of the chain hotels in nearby Burlington. However, some of us opted for this neat Lodge in nearby La Conner. The Lodge itself is an attractive wood shake…More »
