I'm a sandwich fanatic and this is quite possibly the best sub joint ever.

When I was a young, pimply nerd in 80s, I'd come all the way from Sammamish to peruse this store's shelves of geeky goodness. And now, 25 years later, American Eagles hasn't changed -- it literally hasn't changed -- the same items are on the…More »
Yay! Finally another hip joint in my hood besides The Jones.
Good food. Nice atmosphere. Great service. And I don't have to drive to Belltown. A great place to get a bite to eat and/or a drink.
One of the best Thai restaurants in Seattle.
From the outside, it looks questionable, but don't judge a book by its cover. Great food. Good prices. The atmosphere isn't bad. Great service. And they deliver!

What do you get when you combine your favorite old-school diner, your neighborhood locals-only dive bar, and pull tabs? Well, you get something that you Yelpers are probably not attracted to. But you also get Rimrock, a Lake City unknown institution.…More »

I can't help it. I like Red Robin.
I know that basically makes me a conformist drone but I like it.
Sometimes when Barry Manilow comes on the radio, you just sing along, because you like it, and you can't help it, but you hope no one notices.
It's basically a mom and pop Denny's. But there's something about this place that keeps me coming back. When my friends come to town, we go there. It's just comforting to hang out with all the old Lake City down-to-earth locals.

Somewhat unique coffee/deli with lots of sandwich options, crepes, old couches, outdoor seating and a fireplace.
Oh, and of course, they have hot deli girls. All good coffee shops and french-ish delis apparently need hot deli girls. Do they make…More »

Interesting, warm, unique, little joint. It feels like you've stepped out of the Seattle and into some land far away.
The staff are super friendly. The food is pretty good. It's strangely expensive though. The prices sneak up on you. $55 for two…More »
Two things/comments: the owner is weird/nice and the food is unique/tasty.
I thought this place would be like a Denny's but it's much more than that. You can tell that each item is developed with taste in mind. There were interesting sauces that I…More »
A refreshing, new, chain burger joint in Northgate. Their burgers are excellent. Their fries are great. It's not fast, but not too slow either. I fully appreciate how they have those little ketchup tubs for your fries since I'm a big-time ketchup…More »
I can't believe I've been living in Lake City for over four years and never gone here. From the outside it looks sketchy, but it's really pretty good. Well, I've been there once, so I don't know if it's consistent.

Comfort food from around the world. Good stuff.

Local pizza joint in Lake City. The owner/cook/cashier/delivery man is super cool. He always remembers me and likes to be chummy with me.

A small step above a Denny's. The service is usually good but sometimes it's horrible.

As a sandwich lover, I'm primary interested in their sandwich menu. Their sandwiches are average. Not bad. Not great. I really wanted to rave about this place but they use average ingredients. Their bread is great though.

Not bad. Not great. The decor is like a Denny's. The service is slow. I would say the food is a little above average. I can't say that there is better Chinese in the area. But there is definitely better Thai in Lake City.
It's a small, semi-sketchy dive bar.
Apparently, (after reading other reviews) the regulars try to lick newbies. Who's to say that wasn't a welcome lick? Let's be open to other cultures people.
Good stuff. Imagine a quality Domino's-style pie (medium, doughy crust) with interesting choices like gyro, spicy thai, BBQ chicken, etc.

The neighborhood sports bar with darts, pool tables and tavern food. It might be the only one in Lake City? I met the owner and he seems nice.
The pizza could go either way for me. But I'm going to decide that I like it. The crust is really crispy. The ingredients seem okay. But I really love their hot sandwiches. Yum. It's a little expensive though.
Yeah, good stuff.
If for no other reason, you should eat here to say you've tried Tibetan food.
