Being someone who bakes religiously, I was often chastised for not going to The Queen of Tarts for a hit of sweet since I moved to Toronto. Truth be told, I wouldn't call myself a tart fan or a fan of traveling all the way to the west-end just to…More »

This was my first experience at Terroni. There was much hype for it to live up to so I will break it down to atmosphere, service, food and dessert because [spoiler alert] it really is a league of its own.

This 3-level restaurant cafe complete with a third floor patio is a great place for dessert, coffee and chatting among friends.

At least, I assume coffee - not much of a coffee drinker but it seemed fitting to mention it anyway.

If there was one annoyance when it comes to going to an ice cream parlour, it's choosing which ice cream flavour you wish to have a one-night stand with. Oh sure, you can double up on scoops, but come on, I'm not an animal...

Woodbine and Danforth - Yup, it's worth visiting... (8)

It might not be a neighbourhood that's bursting with trendy retail flavour but it still has a lot to offer.

Cup O'Cake (5)

The idea of this list is to [hopefully] expand it as I discover more list-worthy cupcakes since I don't normally go out and buy them. But I need to provide a brief explanation for Sweet Tooth. It's the Chocolate Raspberry cupcake alone that earned its spot. So moist and delicious and imagine if I went when they were fresh!
