All hail the fish taco!
Outside of La Jolla (San Diego), CA this was the best plate of fish tacos I've had.
They just opened on July 11th but after a week and a half they seem to have things together. I didn't experience any of those new restaurant…More »
This was the wvrst lunch I've ever had!
Sorry, had to get my pun in there like everyone else.
I came in on a Saturday afternoon to find the place fairly quiet. I didn't know how things worked so I just pulled up to a bench and waited. A staff member…More »

This was an excellent place to spend my anniversary. I had made reservations but it wasn't necessary as we had our pick of seats out on the patio. They have a decent sized patio with about 10 tables. Being just off Younge street you would expect a…More »

I have now spent my birthday and my wife's birthday here. The prices at Crooked Star just can't be beat. The staff are great and the weekend DJ only plays awesome stuff. It's a cool crowd here that just wants to hang out; no douche-baggery here!
A small place and probably the most eclectic on Ossignton. The bartenders were friendly and the… Read more »

Hands down the best burrito outside of Old Town San Diego.
Yeah its a little pricey compared to Taco Bell but you can't even put them in the same category. If they would franchise I would have a store.
My only complaint is that the hot salsa isn't hot…More »

This places rivals my love for Chipotle. I had the small pork burrito which was the perfect size to fill me up and not leave me feeling bloated. The guac, salsas, meat, and some drinks are all made in-house so they're quite authentic. The pork is…More »
THE BEST PULLED PORK SANDWICH OF MY LIFE!!
To quote Dave O. you will have "happy belly" after eating here. The camel is a pretty nondescript place. The sign just has a picture of a camel and says "cafe" and "sandwiches". I have run past this little…More »
I may have just found my new burger love in Toronto. It took a while to find you but you were worth the wait my darling. I'm really worked up for The Works!
The menu here is like a mail-order bride catalogue for hamburgers. What isn't on the menu…More »

Yes! A place finally doing froyo the right way in Toronto.
As I've mentioned before in my Juicy Babes review there needs to be a self-serve place that has CHOICE! I wanted a Yogurt Land or Yogurt World kind of place in Toronto. Well, last Saturday it…More »

I'm giving this place 5 stars simply because they have Okanagan Springs 1516 on tap. Since moving from Calgary I haven't seen 1516 anywhere.
We had a good time here, though the chairs on the patio are terrible to sit on for a long period of time.
Hands down the best cupcakes I've had. The red velvet is my go to cupcake but there are many great options here. They pile on the icing here but they don't overload the cakes so that you feel sick after eating a few.
I don't know what else I can add…More »
Great selection of tequilas. I had their blood orange drink which went down very easy. The decor on the patio is nice and includes a tiki bar. I would have liked to spend more time here. I guess I'll have to go back again

Simmons is now my go-to flower shop. I stopped in one day when I was walking through Cabbage town to pick up a bouquet for the house. I was treated with the basic service you would find at any other flower shop, but then she asked me what type of…More »
This is a great little butcher in Cabbagetown. Not only do they have a great selection of meats they have the accessories you need too. You can't have a steak without potatoes so you can get those here, and maybe some fresh fruit for dessert.…More »
I had my second experience here last night. This time was just take out but the experience was just as good. The chicken roti was super yummy, though not as saucy as the last time. What more is there to say when everyone else has said it already?…More »

For a sushi place in the middle of nowhere, this is some good eats!
The decor is modern and cool. The space is small but suits the area well. The prices are competitive with a la carte Sushi at $3-4.50 for two pieces, rolls at around $8 and Maki…More »

Wow, so many great reviews I'm almost not sure what to add! This place is fantastic. It's cool but a casual cool, not hipster cool. The prices of the products matches the quality you get.
