Happy to report that the cafe is bug-free. I've been here for two hours and have enjoyed myself so much that I have not done any work. Instead, I've surfed the web using the free wi-fi, given myself the caffeine shakes with a delicious latte, and…More »

Over the last year I've been in here 3 times. The first two times for dinner - and it was pretty darn MEH. It's unfortunately really, they have an alluring patio - and people seem to be enjoying themselves, but the food has generally been nothing…More »

No Frozen Yogurt.
Well, luckily, the residents (and visitors) of the beach can breath a huge sigh of relief because this yummy little spot has opened up. My husband and I…More »

This is the place you should go to if you want to see your breakfast about 30 minutes after you've ingested it. Is that TMI?
I don't know anyone who can properly digest the breakfast here. It is *that* greasy. I'm not sure if that is an endorsement…More »

So. Good. So so so good.
The ice cream is absolute perfection. They get it just right, the creme brulee, not too sweet or heavy, refreshing and tasty. The milk chocolate tastes just like chocolate milk. They make their own waffle cones on site,…More »

The beacher has officially become my go-to brunch place in the beach.
We've hit up a few brunch places in the beach and this one has the best food by far. Obviously, it's no Bonjour Brioche Bakery, but it's close and the fact that there are no wait…More »

Second cup is, of course, very yummy. This location is great, people are really nice, it's really big. But, the food/baked goods aren't always the freshest.
Edited: I no longer to go second cup for a regular cup of coffee, it's not that great. But,…More »

I heart Licks. It's quality goodness, and you can't beat the nature burger. At this location they even sing without being asked (poor bastards).
It's by far the best fast food burgers that I've had - and they have good ice cream too. Speaking of…More »
Yum! I love the pizza here. It's tasty and oh-so-gourmet. I also really appreciate the variety of crusts. I've had better, but I like this pizza a lot and know I can count on it for a good fancy pizza for when I'm in the mood. A bit pricey…More »
Under new ownership, this place is pretty good. It's not the best falafel I've had but its pretty good, and the service is great. Also good shwarma if you're are carnivore!

Ick. Way too greasy and not that tasty. We went here for brunch and had a variety of things, and nothing was impressive. Even the yogurt and fruit was sub-par. Others seem to really like it, but we won't be returning.
Love the place, love the beer selection, love the patio, not so much on the food though. I've eaten here twice and while it's okaaayyy it's really not that great for food. But, otherwise, it's a great watering hole!
I'm a big fan of patronizing the local small shops rather than the chains. Unfortunately this place is about 25 mins from my house by foot, so not always the most convenient. I normally grab a cup if I'm at the organic grocer or Ed's ice cream…More »
