Next time I go to Maneki I am bringing a tent because I am moving in. No I am serious. Stop by and say hi I will be in the Tatami room to the left. This is the best Japanese food I have ever had and I am in need of it daily.
My first time here, which…More »

IT'S GOING, GOING, GONE...
I went to PGE Park not to catch a game but in order to distract myself while waiting for Koi Fusion. I have been following them on Twitter and reading all of the reviews on Yelp so drove down from Olympia to try them out.…More »
One of the best Thai restaurant's I have ever set foot in. I wasn't really that hungry until my girlfriend and I stepped inside and took a seat. The restaurant smells delicious enough to eat. I debated tasting the walls to make sure I didn't walk…More »
My most recent purchase was Wakatake Ginjo "Onikoroshi" Sake $32 720ml. Now do yourself a favor and go get a bottle. One of the best Sakes I have had for the price. Well balanced, refreshing, and crisp with a mild sweetness.
Not sure of my decision…More »

This review is a figment of your imagination.
Apparently I have never had an actual Banh Mi and neither have any of you who have eaten here and enjoyed it. We have only had imaginary ones like my friend Tyler Durden who is a regular here. You see,…More »
I will stop here every time I am in Wallingford from now on. I Promise. If for some reason I don't I should be banished to Idaho (Sorry Idaho I find you creepy and only like you for your sexy potatoes).

I had a demon inside me. It's true. Stupid Demon. It set up camp in my head and nasal passages and made me feel like a puddle of goo. I could hear it in there singing lame campfire songs as the smell of burnt marshmallows wafted from my nose.

Where to start. How about outside because you may be waiting awhile to be seated. Especially during dinner hours. Oh and make sure to get your name on the waiting list as well or you could be waiting until tomorrow.

Don't walk, don't jog, Sprint to Narai like you're being chased by a bunch of rabid monkeys!!!
Last night was my first of many dinners here and it was amazing. There are about 3,425,786 other restaurants in Olympia serving Thai and Narai just shot up…More »
The first time I ever had Pho was here so maybe I am predisposed to like it or maybe it is just really good. When you enter the market you can head to the right and shop for all sorts of goodies. Chinese Sausage, Lemongrass, Octopus or maybe some…More »

I parked down at the waterfront so I could go to Sake Nomi, a regular stop for me when I visit Seattle, when suddenly I got the uncontrollable urge for a Banh Mi. Unfortunately for me I had already paid for 2 hours worth of parking, plus finding…More »
I use to go here for lunch about once a week when I was working in Lacey. I happened to be in the need for some Pho this morning so stopped in. I forgot just how good it was. I grabbed one of the many booths lining the wall, my server brought a menu,…More »
Needing my Pho fix and remembering having a gynormus bowl here once I decided to try it again to see if my memory was still in tact.

This time the GF and I went with the Rockstar roll, Tigerbox roll and Unagi nigiri.
