Sam has stepped it up.
Much better than a few years back. Better service and menu and the cigarette smoke is gone.
Sam is friendly and she remembers our name.
The breakfast specials are the most creative and better value.

Not much variety, rude waitstaff, and cigarette smoke everywhere. Closes early too :-(
5. Chez Vachon-West Side
Chez Vachon has renovated and updated their space!
We went this past Sunday and they finally reopened and they have a new sign, carpet, flooring, paint, ceiling tiles, and some new furniture.

A very clean, yet very simple restaurant that has many patrons over 70 years old.
Food was canned and bland. (corned beef hash, apple pie filling)
Prices decent to inexpensive.

We returned to the Chatterbox Cafe with friends for breakfast.
We got in quick, and there was no wait.
The menu is smaller now, and they recently redecorated, which was a nice touch.

We stopped in for breakfast at the new BettyAnn'e Diner, which took the place of the former Diner 317, and Eggies Diner before that.
They painted the diner pink, yeah pink. It does not look good and yes of course it stands out.
