Most authentic Tacos in Vancouver!
I totally agree with Geoff G's take on Dona Cata. The service is a bit slack but they are super busy, so you can't blame them for little hiccups.

Thanks to Darren N, I pretended that this was a hole in the wall Indian place that I have passed by for years. (Its true, I lived a block away for two years and never stopped in!)
Today, I had the Mattar Paneer and Naan, and ya, lets just say that I…More »

I am now an official repeat Flying Tiger offender.
Holy flying kitties this place serves up some serious grub.
We went for Yelp Eats the other night, and damn it was good once again.
They've earned a place on my "guarantees" list.

I gotta give these guys five stars.
The staff are so friendly, and hail from Mexico (kinda scary sometimes when you see a white guy in the kitchen... just sayin...?)

Pretty close to a five star Thai place for price and quality. It just took a bit too long for our food to arrive despite there being less than a dozen people in the place. Oh well, worth the wait. The Pad Thai and sticky rice were bad-ass.
I have been to Thailand a few times, and I can confidently say that Maenam serves up authentically yummerific Thai! I have looked far and wide for a proper Thai place in Vancouver, but there is always something lacking in flavour. (I am not a huge…More »
Four stars for their Red Curry Chicken. Sooooooo good.
I have tried a lot of their dishes over the past couple of years, but I would say the red curry is the best on the menu. Hence, minus a star.
Actually, the pad thai is pretty decent too.

I am usually an ambitious order-er when returning to a restaurant for the second, third, sixth time. But I can't help ordering the same darn thing every time at Rangoli. The Portobello Mushroom with Naan, Chai tea and rice pudding for dessert.

I have to admit I was pretty underwhelmed with my walnut tacos for brunch.
They were void of any flavour. Which is weird because of the ingredients. I dunno. I wasn't impressed with the crappy service either. I know there are places that are…More »
Reminds me of All-Inclusive resort meals in Mexico!
As my fellow Yelpers have already pointed out, the food isn't bad, it's just that it seems to be missing something. A lil pizazz perhaps?
