Second Suit is in my neighbourhood so I get there often.  I really like the way that it's organised mostly by colour and article of clothing.  Pants are sorted by size.  There's a decent selection of men's items but definitely more for women.  They…More »

I've been shopping at Le Chateau for decades, literally.  When I lived in Ottawa I'd head to Montreal for shopping weekends and always hit their store.  It used to represent decent priced, stylish items that I could enjoy a good party in.  I didn't…More »

A fun way to 'long lunch' on a Friday (3)

1) Tell the boss you're not coming back after lunch!
2) Go to Society for some of their stick-to-your-Ribs!  Well they're not called that but the ribs are good.  Get fries too.  Drink wine.
3) Go across the road to Rodneys.  Get a Caesar (comes with big prawn).  Order some oysters if you need more food by now.
4) Take a walk, just a few blocks but enough to help pace yourself.  Go to The Refinery.  Order Earl Grey Martini.  Could be a good time for some cheese and charcuterie. ; )
