A huge Provincial Park right smack in Ontario within several hours of driving from most cities in the province. This mega campground is excellent for all camping types. A must see for all outdoors enthusiasts especially hikers and canoeheads.
2. Carsons Camp
This campground has all the required amenities for camping out. The campground may be a little cramped; there is a lot of socializing available. As for the beach...worth the stay on Lake Huron, Ontario.
3. Ottawa Municipal Campground
This campground was very nice and provided us with all necessary amenities. It is located near the city of Ottawa and provided us with the convenience of camping near the downtown core.
4. Balsam Lake Provincial Park
Great Provincial Park for water enthusiast...the lake looked very welcoming. All facilities were in good working conditions...our tax money at good work. If I would have had more time I would have launched my boat in the lake.
5. Escuminac Beach and Family Park
Made a pit-stop here with the RV and got to enjoy the ocean while camping. Definitely will pit-stop here again when passing by. Next time I am going to have to try the local seafood.
6. Windy Lake Provincial Park
