La Palette is an unassuming, dimly lit French restaurant known for its horse tenderloin (hello, what?!)

The restaurant has character inside; it really is the definition of my kind of restaurant. It's dimly lit, cozy and pretty romantic. A red brick…More »

Coquine is the crème de la crème of restaurants in the area for atmosphere, food and service!

Wedding Venues, Shops, etc. (8)

Believe it or not, I will be attending 9 weddings this year...including my own! I've also been to several over the last few years so I'm becoming a bit of an expert on the subject.

5 Star Reviews - The Best of the Best (25)

If you haven't been, you must go. It doesn't get better than this.

30-Day-Challenge (30)

Toronto's 30 day challenge - 30 reviews in the month of October. It should be a review a day, but I fell off the bandwagon at day 22 due to a vacation to the states with little to no access to internet. I'm going to keep going anyway, just for sh*ts and giggles.

Avoid these places (6)

My 1 star reviews.

Waterloo (19)

I lived in Waterloo for four solid years during university (summers, winters, springs and falls). Here are some of the places in the city I frequented.

Don't be put off by all the 4 and 5 star reviews, I just haven't gotten around to reviewing the mediocre pubs and restaurants around the universities.

Best Places to go on a Date (8)

A comedy show, a music performance at a coffee shop,  a picnic with fresh cheese, an evening at a museum, or walk through a funky part of town finished with a coffee (or beer) on a patio... these are some great date ideas.

GoodLife Fitness (9)

My opinion on the GoodLife gyms around the city. I don't really have a 'home' gym, instead I work out where ever I'm closest to that day.

Yonge and Eglinton (33)

Yonge and Eg, Yonge and Eligible, call it what you will, here is a list of businesses in the area in alphabetical order
