After visiting and being completely in awe with Whole Foods in NYC at Union Square a few years ago, I was so excited when Capers merged with Whole Foods in Vancouver.
Lately, I've been shopping at the Cambie & West 8th location about 2 or 3 times a…More »

Best place in town (that I've found) for fresh, inexpensive tortas -- based on traditional Mexican methods, with an Asian twist (they have torta fillings such as teriyaki chicken, etc. -- oh, so good!).
All tortas are on bakery fresh rolls (which you…More »

I love the silky, hand-pulled noodles with a variety of treatments, lately our fave is the spicy DanDan peanut sauce. OMG... So good!

Whenever I'm in the neighbourhood, I stop here and pick up a few things that are hard to find elsewhere... and I get some deli meats and cheeses, stock up on produce, bread, crackers and tomato paste. It's a great store!

Yes, I tried the pulled pork sandwich and it was terrific. Huge (two meals for me) and yummy. I loved that they will not entertain any variance from the standard build. Cool.
The quinoa salad was really good too. :)
Yay!!! Clean food, brown rice, fusion gourmet west coast crossed with sushi. Fresh and yummy.
