Quest for Intercontinental Champion J-Curry

I don't profess to be a foodie at all (at least I don't think I'm a pretentious snob) - but I do know Japanese curry. Here's my quest for the perfect Japanese curry... on the wrong side of the Pacific. Notable exceptions: Hurry Curry & Curry House in LA - been over two years since I've been... and neither were remarkable.

Okay - this is a pretty legit J-curry joint. It's somehow less and more authentic than Go! Go! Curry.
