La Palette is an unassuming, dimly lit French restaurant known for its horse tenderloin (hello, what?!)
The restaurant has character inside; it really is the definition of my kind of restaurant. It's dimly lit, cozy and pretty romantic. A red brick…More »

I can't get over how inexpensive this place is! It's a great place to have a couple coffees, a quick bite, or a beer on their patio in the summer.
For $3 the hummus and pita is absolutely delicious. $6 for a big chicken wrap and hearty bowl of soup.

The Cameron House is random. The crowd is random. The décor is random. And the bands that come through are the most random of all. I've been here a good handful of times over last few months and can solidly say the only thing that is consistent about…More »

Cafe Crêpes is a fantastic little restaurant set up like a 50's style diner with a modern twist. You sit at tables with black leather booths, paintings of flapper's on the walls around you and modern looking stainless steel fans spinning overhead. I…More »

30-Day-Challenge (30)Toronto's 30 day challenge - 30 reviews in the month of October. It should be a review a day, but I fell off the bandwagon at day 22 due to a vacation to the states with little to no access to internet. I'm going to keep going anyway, just for sh*ts and giggles.http://www.yelp.ca/eve... |

Waterloo (19)I lived in Waterloo for four solid years during university (summers, winters, springs and falls). Here are some of the places in the city I frequented.Don't be put off by all the 4 and 5 star reviews, I just haven't gotten around to reviewing the mediocre pubs and restaurants around the universities. |

Best Places to go on a Date (8)A comedy show, a music performance at a coffee shop, a picnic with fresh cheese, an evening at a museum, or walk through a funky part of town finished with a coffee (or beer) on a patio... these are some great date ideas. |
GoodLife Fitness (9)My opinion on the GoodLife gyms around the city. I don't really have a 'home' gym, instead I work out where ever I'm closest to that day. |
