Porter is the greatest.  No middle seat, free booze, free WiFi in the terminal, cool uniforms on the flight attendants, consistent sales on all fares (sign up for the mailing list) and you don't have to go anywhere near Pearson.

I recently went to MEC to have my bike tuned. I have a nice bike but it's by virtue of getting it as a hand me down from a mountain bike enthusiast. I don't know half what you would expect me to know given the quality of my bike, basically I am the…More »

I was thoroughly impressed with everything about Splendido.

I had the jalapeno pasta, suckling pig and apple cobbler (to share). The pasta was really good, it's pretty spicy and the noodles are top notch. The suckling pig was undoubtedly the finest…More »

I recently visited Fernie for my third time (i.e., three trips, with multiple days of skiing/snowboarding each trip).  This year we were incredibly lucky as Fernie was being decimated with snow, so the conditions were absolutely unbelievable.  Fernie…More »

5.0 star rating
  2/22/2011
