We made sure to have breakfast here one day on a trip to New York a couple years ago and weren't disappointed. Although it may not be the prettiest restaurant the food and service are great and I'm not sure that you can get a better selection of…More »
I had the pleasure of eating at Bern's again when I took my GF up to the Tampa Bay area for her birthday in April. The experience, as always, was stellar, and the entire three-hour plus experience was marvelous.
A few added bonuses this time around:

This is, quite simply, my favourite steakhouse. Period. It's a wondeful experience from beginning… Read more »
I was here for a business dinner, so I have no idea about the check (someone higher up the food chain took the bill), but I greatly enjoyed the food, drinks, and service.
The steak I had was excellent, and the fancy mac'n'cheese one of my table mates…More »

It's hard to add much to what everyone else has said, but let it be known that with the understanding of just how good I expected these doughnuts to be, Liana and I spent about an hour and a half, round trip, solely for the purpose of buying a half…More »
My wife and I had an absolutely phenomenal experience going whale watching with Captain Steve during our stop in Juneau on our recent Alaskan cruise.
I found them on my own and although it's somewhat of a pricey experience ($150 per person), it's well…More »
This is an amazing little boutique hotel near the heart of Toulouse France. If you're going to be spending any time in the city I definitely would recommend considering this hotel.
It's by no means the cheapest place to stay, but given the service…More »
I ate here a couple years ago and had an exceptionally enjoyable meal.
It's been a while, so I can't remember the specific details, but recall that we had a beef dish that was excellent.
The main thing that's stayed with me is how much we enjoyed the…More »

I see a lot of complaints about this restaurant as a nightclub. And to be perfectly honest, I have NO IDEA what it's like on Friday and Saturday nights.
What I can speak to is the absolutely wonderful experience my girlfriend and I had on a Sunday…More »
Surprisingly cheap restaurant for downtown San Francisco. I found their prices actually a bit cheaper than what I'm accustomed to in South Florida.
The food was good, the service efficient (if a bit TOO efficient at times), and the atmosphere was…More »

Admittedly, I was here way back in 2000, but I enjoyed the experience when I went. Good food and a fun atmosphere.
This has got to be one of the most romantic places in all of California, let alone in Big Sur! If you've never been and are going to be in the area, it is a must-see destination!
It's a little hard to find, so you'll probably need the help of a…More »

I've yet to have better deep dish pizza, and living in South Florida, it'll probably be a LONG time before I get some as good. Bring your appetite, but be prepared to wait for it at this famous Chicago institution.
Word to the wise (which I wasn't…More »
I was fairly disappointed with our lunch here. It was really nothing special.
The sandwiches we had were decent and service was fairly prompt, but it felt more like a place where the local teens hang out and get free wifi together.
I'm rounding up…More »

If you want a romantic spot to get dessert on a weeknight, I don't know if you can find anything more so than sitting in front of their fireplace with a latte and banana trifle.
The main issue I find is that because of the free wifi, people tend to…More »
This is simply my favorite brew pub. The quality and selection of beers is astonishing, and the pub grub is far from the norm. The burgers are great, and there is a decent selection of other stuff. And you can pool and darts upstairs.
These falls are quite beautiful, but they're a bit tough to get to, there are a LOT of mosquitoes, and the viewing platform is REALLY far from the falls themselves.
Bring bug repellent, binoculars, and a camera with good zoom to fully appreciate this…More »
I shared an order of crab cakes here while on a stop during our cruise, and they were excellent.
Additionally my parents raved about the king crab legs they had.
And it definitely helps that they've got beer on tap too, but I can't give a a five start…More »
