1. I'm a Pho & Bun Fiend.
2. I have practically had a bowl of Pho in every city I've been to across North America & parts of the UK.
3. I love Pho, BUT I only categorize Pho in 3 categories. Awesome, Okay, Bleh.
4. I only have the fully loaded special.…More »
Sadly this isn't the same Pho Vietnam that I once knew.
It looks like they have new ownership, and the quality and service from this place has dropped off a cliff.
The last few times I've been back, the quality of the food was only ok. The grilled…More »

My schedule changed at bit, and I needed some dinner before the Official So You Think You Can Curl event. Randomly drove by Pho My Duyen and thought it was a sign. It was either this, or the House of Lancaster a block away, and I figured, broth was…More »

I guess there's a large Viet community out in the west end, as this place is situated in a litte strip mall with a variety of viet business's including a supermarket.
Now I know where to go when I need to make an emergency Pho pit, when I'm someone in…More »
I'm not sure what it is about the K-W area, but it is just full of Pho options, and is second to none compared to any typical Pho place in Toronto or anywhere in the world.
After a long day of coaching girls volleyball, I set my GPS to PHO. It…More »

Review on the Run:
I'd give my left arm for an authentic Pho place to be around here. Unfortunately Sprout is a very dumbed down version of the real stuff. The food isn't aweful, but the Pho consists of a few pieces of sliced beef flank or a choice…More »
Omnomeriffic Yum! (TM) (58)Ok these are some of my favourite places in the GTA... my places of yum. |
Date night (48)A little pre bow-chica-bow-bow action. |
ROTD (6)OK, since all the cool kids have a ROTD list. I guess I'll share mine. |
Pho-get-about it. (7)All Pho (but great-pho), all the time. |
Meh! (46)I'm an even keel kind of a guy, I rarely get too excited or overly disapointed about things. SO here's my list of places of meh. |
Lyrical Miracals (24)I'm so ill'n hoping that you'd be chillin' |
Ridonckulousness! (Oh no you di'int?!) (21)Enter and risk your life. |
Toronto Golfer's Not So Ultimate List. (15)This is pretty much the list of places you'll find me during the weekends. Whether it's the driving range or a round of golf, bring your clubs and your swing.Note: I'm a mid-high handicapper and am just not as picky as serious low handicappers. As a weekend duffer, as long as the conditions aren't horrible, or the course is not so poorly designed (i.e. having balls land near you at the tee box) I'm okay with it. Be FORE warned, it's an addictive sport. |
Chinese BBQ (6)Places to get your roasted pork, chicken, duck, some char-sui marinated pork, and if you're lucky a bunch of other items like bung (?!?!) fried smelt/ talapia or tofu.I seriously couldn't go more than a month without some Chinese BBQ. It practically cost me a relationship when someone wanted to turn vegan after seeing a whole roasted pig hung up. You know who I chose to stick by.. yes the piggy. |
