My boyfriend and I were in Cannon Beach for a weekend and decided to splurge for one fine dining meal. Those of you who have been to Cannon Beach know that there just aren't that many options. Newmans seemed like the only real option. The reviews…More »
Whoa, whoa, whoa... I can't believe all of the 5-star reviews. Did I just come here on a bad night?
To preface my review, I acknowledge the fact that Lil' Woody's is a fairly new establishment, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. New…More »
This was our "back up" restaurant since we didn't feel like waiting ages for a table at Facing East. My boyfriend and I had eaten at the original Monsoon location a while back and enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance. However, although the menu…More »

I've been here twice: once for late night drinks and once for lunch. The service was as different as... well... night and day.
I came by for drinks with a group of about 10 people. It was a weekday night, so we didn't have any problem with getting…More »
The highlight of Poquitos is the decor and ambiance: tall ceilings, unique lighting fixtures, wraparound booths, and gorgeous tile work. They also have a terrific covered patio area for year-round outdoor seating. Don't expect any quiet, candlelit…More »

I came here for the first time after my team finished the Great Urban Race scavenger hunt. We were sweaty and exhausted and this place was close by and air-conditioned, so it was the easy choice.
We split the nachos and garlic fries--which were just…More »
Very pretty decor and great service--very friendly and attentive. However, the food is only so-so. I was getting over a cold, so I ordered a big bowl of the the seafood soup. The broth was bland and the seafood tasted like it was previously…More »
Dear lord... I never thought I would ever complain about too much bacon, but that is the case with Lunchbox Laboratory. I got the Homage to the Dick's Deluxe (which, yes, does in fact taste like a Dick's Deluxe), and I found myself pulling off some…More »
There was a lot of hype when this place opened last year--people waiting 3 hours to get a table. Let me just say, I am SO glad I waited several months before trying Din Tai Feng, because nothing I ate there was worth any wait.
We ordered the pork and…More »

If you're into the whole "custom-built budger" novelty, there are much better places to go than The Counter. The sweet potato fries were good, but the burgers are just so-so--and rather overpriced.
I didn't like the feel of the place. It's very…More »

Good atmosphere, but typical overpriced pub food. I had the bacon cheeseburger, which was fine, but nothing to rave about. However, I'm giving it an extra star for the fries and chicken wings, which were pretty damn good!
