Eclectic with an artsy vibe. I guess that would be how I would describe it.
I went with my brother, sister-in-law and my naugthy nephew to the restaurant. I made a reservation the evening before. They provided us with a booster seat, but he was too…More »

I was visiting from Toronto (well, went to visit my friend in Seattle, and we drove to Vancouver). I have been craving GOOD ramen in the last many months. When I found out that I was going to Vancouver,…More »

When I got into Vancouver, one of my friends had recommended to go to Cafe Medina for brunch. The next day, I woke up and ended up there. Quite the line-up when we got there, so my friend and I left our names there, walked around T&T (which was…More »
What an adorable little place! I don't think I would've ever went here if it wasn't through the recommendation of my brother's best friend.
Tiny little sushi restaurant near Kitsilano.
Great service! We had a very lovely talk with the waitress there…More »

HUGE place for a coffee shop. Very relaxing - considering that it's by the pier in Richmond.
We just so happened to land on the day where it was 2-for-1 cappuciunos.
Really, I wish there were more coffee shops like this in Toronto...

I had to try at least one Guu in Vancouver -- I mean, that's where it came from, right? Initially, we were planning to go to the Guu in Gastown, but I couldn't manage to make a reservation (and I didn't really feel like waiting since we had my…More »

WHY DO WE NOT HAVE ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN TORONTO? I usually am not a fan of Fish and Chips, but we just so happened to pass by this place while we were in Richmond. My brother's friend kept raving about the place and telling us that was it was the…More »

I love microbreweries! I was only there for the beer so I can't really speak for the food. My brother and I had the taster -- great way to sample the beer that they have available there.
Great way to take a little break from the day too.
I went to visit Vancouver for the first time in my life. I was craving ramen (and being the foodie that I am, I searched up every possible restaurant I could find that is awesome in Vancouver).
I loved the ramen here.

My brother was saying to me, "Seriously? This place? It's so dingy." Of course though - the best places are the dingiest places.
I searched up "pho" on yelp in Vancouver - and we decided to come here.
I'm glad we did! The Banh Mi wasn't as good as…More »

It's good - but not AMAZING. I think I just didn't get the terimayo, and ended up getting the orishi instead (grated turnip with soy sauce) and it wasn't the best.
It was interesting though that's for sure! Great service too. I wish they had stuff…More »

Great coffee. The raspberry ganache tart was delicious as well.
HOWEVER, service was horrible. I don't know why, but the service was horrible. I don't know if it was the one barista, but she was just so rude to us. I was very unhappy with that.

OMNOMNOM ramen (7)Toronto doesn't seem to have much of a Japanese culture - especially on ramen. This may be due to the stigma of instant ramen noodles. Despite all that, I still enjoy my ramen. Here are some ramen houses that I found in Toronto (including the not-so-great-ones). |
