Over the years I've been royally fucked by Eastern, Delta, SkyWest, Air India, and American, and largely been disappointed by most everyone else, so I was a little apprehensive. But after JetBlue royally fucked up last winter I figured they'd be on…More »
But Terminal 3 fucking sucked, especially as an involuntary overnight destination.
Apparently JetBlue was a wise choice for flying into JFK. My Mom flew in on American and there was… Read more »

DISCLAIMER: My Wife's Cousin is the new manager of this place, and we were provided rooms at a reduced rate. However, with major renovations planned this is more of a review of the previous management/ownership anyway.
We had a party of 4 split…More »
Our first night dinner plans fell through when our stay shifted from the Radisson to the Paramount, so we wandered around Times Square for a while and eventually found this place. It rang a bell with me because there's a Pig & Whistle in Los…More »

A good way to see the sights and get around town. But hop off several times per tour or it can get a little tedious. On the Uptown Tour get off at Strawberry Fields, the Guggenheim, and the Plaza so you can ride the horsie ride or go to the Apple…More »

Big ass sammiches with a dollop of mustard on every bite and a chocolate egg cream. YUM!
We went here based on Yelp reviews, so thanks everybody.
$10-$20 per person. Yeah, kinda pricey. 4 stars.

Two employees. Two customers, one of which is me. I'm getting two bottles of water and a bottled iced tea. The timer starts at 5 stars...

Champion ballbreakers. So my wife's cousin who manages the Paramount Hotel across the street loans us his car. We pick it up from this place where the hotel has an account with for two monthly spots. We get back at like 1 in the morning and are…More »
This is the outfit that ferrys you from Manhattan to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Security for this thing was twice as psycho as any airport. I body cavity searched myself just from feeling guilty in general. 3 stars.
Best pizza I've had outside of Italy...hottest chick I've seen in NYC at the next table...a freak rainstorm outside. Coincidence? Yeah I guess, but it was cool anyway. Another winner I found on Yelp.
$5-$10 per person. The "grandma's pizza" and…More »

Crowded and crazy and always under construction. The universal consensus was that "Top of the Rock" is the better choice, but my Mom's never been to NYC so we had to take her. The smartest thing I did was get express tickets - fuck it, it's a money…More »

We planned to go to Gray's Papaya, but this was convenient. My Mom was complaining about prices during the whole trip but when we came for the cheapest meal in town she didn't like it. I think she just didn't understand it.

For some reason we couldn't get into Rao's, so with Yelp's help I found this instead. Attentive service and excellent food. I had a salad of beets and watercress, and pappardelle with artichokes and pancetta. Wow. My only regret was missing out…More »
