OMG I finally had a chance to visit the newly opened Lady Marmalade. I'm happy to report that I was pleasantly impressed and the place lived up to all they hype I've been hearing from west coast peeps who have eaten at the original location in…More »

Sushi Bar is a brand new addition to Leslieville. They have taken over the location formerly occupied by SOMA Lounge right at the corner of Queen and Broadview. If you are looking for reasonably priced sushi with a large menu, but nothing too…More »
Best sushi take-out in town. Amazing quality of fish and friendly staff. A little on the expensive side but they make up for it in all sorts of "on-the-house" extras...

The day I heard Ed's was moving into Leslieville I literally jumped for joy! Their original location in the Beaches has been an east end staple for ages, but this new location puts delicious hand made ice cream within a 5 minute walk from my front…More »

Excellent espresso and yummy baked goods. Nice bonus is free wifi which makes it a favourite haunt for laptop toting "web workers".
I really enjoy this place. They have a great Americano. Staff is friendly and the place is also bike friendly. They have a nice but small patio which is great for summer sipping.

Great for brunch especially in the summer with multiple patio options.

I've been a member for a few years now. Price is decent. Gym isn't super fancy but they have everything you need to get a good workout. It's pretty much the neighbourhood gym and you always tend to run into "the regulars".
This place is the best paint store I have ever gone to and continue to buy all my paint here anytime I have a job to do. The staff is amazing and really know their stuff. They are always happy to help you, even if you don't know what you're doing.

Need a quick fix for a soft serve chocolate dipped cone or a Blizzard... this is your location in the east end. Located at the top of Pottery road this DQ has an amazing view of the city at night. Just place your order and grab a seat on one of the…More »
Carbon is a great local Mac shop. Have used their service depot a couple times and they have taken good care of me. They tend to carry things you can't find at the Apple Store...
This is a slightly older, less fancy Loblaws compared to others in the area, but it gets the job done consistently.
They have a pretty large selection of fruits and vegetables that are typically quite fresh although on the rare occasion they tend to…More »
