I really love this place; it's one of my favorite restaurants in New orleans. Not only do they have a really great steak, but they also have amazing appetizers (Oysters Rockefeller in particular), but they were amazingly accommodating to my vegan…More »
The fries were reminiscent of poutine from Montreal and the burgers were the hot, amazing mess that you want when you've made the decision to go to a food truck parked outside of a bar. There was a short line that moved quickly and the people working…More »
I'm torn between a four and five star rating because of what I consider to be a cavernous gap between the quality of the rooms and the lounge.

It's a little pricey (about $15 a ride), but a fun ride. Locals get a buy one get one free deal with NV id's!
I came to the Venetian tonight and had barely enough time to grab some much needed food. Noodle Asia was close tot he sports book, which is where I was meeting friends, so I decided to give them a try.

I'm giving the place three stars as an average of all the times that I've been here. Sometimes the place is a two star mess (like when Fergie hosted NYE and couldn't count) but other times it's been a lot of fun (my most recent visit in December was…More »

The jalapeno yellow tail sashimi is one of the best things I've ever eaten. Order the Bento box for dessert (which they finally added to the LV menu) to share and it's just about as good as it gets.
I've only had drinks here so far, but the food I saw looked amazing. I'm a fan of the atmosphere too; the music kept the feeling upbeat and the bartenders were all really nice particularly Chris (think that was his name).

This is a great little divey pub in the Freemont street area. It can get a little packed on the weekend, but it's gaming free, so it automatically gets a little love from me as a place to have a non-traditional Las Vegas experience.
This is a chain restaurant, but it doesn't feel like it. It's interior suggests something closer to fine dining, but the prices are actually really reasonable. One of the best things about it is the view it has.
It's pretty basic Italian food, but…More »

The Peppermill is a guilty pleasure as is the adjoining Fireside lounge. This is a great last stop of the night because it is so over the top, datedly bad, that it transcends into amazing.

I was pleasantly surprised with Top of the World. I didn't have high expectations because it was located in the Stratosphere, which admittedly isn't my favorite. We decided to give it go after seeing an online deal come up for it and I'm glad we…More »

They have sort of an amazing liquor selection and at very reasonable prices. I've never ventured in tot he souvenir side, but it looks impressive from the outside.
I love this theater for the fact that they haven't jacked ticket prices through the roof (they've remained reasonable through the years) and it's in a great location. I can get to the theater early, grab my tickets and get a bite to eat or do a…More »

I didn't have high expectations for the place and chose to try it because it's very close to where I live; I was pleasantly surprised though as the food was very good, the service was quick and the prices were reasonable. They have good lunch…More »
Snagged an online deal for this place after I heard about it from friends; it was really great! The portions were generous, the prices were reasonable and the staff was very kind. They don't have a full bar here though, so plan accordingly.
I found myself craving sushi still after an unsatisfying quest for a it a few days before. I'd been to Little Buddah in the past and when wanting to grab a bite to eat at the Palms before a movie, we decided to stop in. I worried immediately because…More »

I'd heard good things about Absinthe, but after a friend who's opinion I value highly raved about it, I decided it was time to see it. It was even better than I'd heard and it's a show that I'll be back to see again ASAP.

Taking it off in New Orleans (7)For those of you looking for a night out in New Orleans strip clubs, these are my suggestions. Not all of them are as risque as you might be looking for, but in some instances, less is more. You should know two very important things though, when slipping into this arena:1. This isn't Las Vegas. It's grittier, seedier in general, but there are a few rare exceptions where it's actually classier (and frankly more fun) 2. Bring cash and avoid using your card when possible. The rest is a club-by-club basis. |
It's the perfect weather to sit outside (13)These are places (in the vicinity of the french quarter) I like to go when I want to sit outside and grab a bite to eat. |
