So why have I been to The Coffee Shop on so many occasions while in vegas? Well: 1) I tend to stay at Treasure Island a lot, 2) I am usually drunk when I go here after partying, 3) It is on the way to the guest elevators, 4) it is open 24 hours.

Like ABC Stores in Honolulu, HI, there is a Capriotti's in almost every strip mall in Vegas and it's surrounding suburbs. I chose this one to review because I frequent it the most.
I would love to give Capriotti's five stars but cannot. On…More »
On my never ending quest to eat food, I rarely return to a place to eat more than once. If I should return, it is because the food, atmosphere or people there are amazing. Firefly definitely falls on that list for me.

Top Restaurants & Eating Spots! (67)Some of my favorite dining destinations. |
Where I Get Drunk! (17)I go out and drink A LOT. I love the atmosphere, the people and the buzz. Here are my favorite places! |
Wine me baby one more time! (21)I love wine. Plain and simple. I have traveled up and down California enjoying some of the best wines in the world. This list is dedicated to all that is wine in my world. Enjoy! |
California Central Coast Wine Tour (11)A (growing) list of my favorite stops during a really fun road trip in the lesser-traveled Central Coast Wine area that includes awesome Los Olivos, Solvang, Paso Robles, Santa Ynez and Santa Barbara, plus some delicious food spots on the way! |
Tacos, Sopes and Pupusas oh my! (15)Burritos, ehh. Quesadillas, you are good after midnight with a slight buzz. When I want my latin american food fix, I go for tacos, sopes and pupusas!Because I love seafood tacos, I had to include them on this list and share with the world their AWESOME GLORY. |
Napa & Sonoma Wine Tour! (10)My list of favorite wineries and food stops in the most popular wine region on the Left Coast, with a special emphasis on the Russian River AVA (my favorite area)! I hope some of these suggestions help. And always remember, HAPPY DRINKING! |
Sandwich Heaven (39)I do not consider myself a foodie so much as a lover of food. I do not have the most discerning palate. I just love food. So with that intro, I begin my first, dearest, and eventually long Yelp list. There is always a debate about what grain is the best. Many may consider this blasphemous considering my Asian heritage, but nothing, absolutely nothing, beats... BREAD. There are occasions for rice (when eating Panda Express Orange Chicken) and noodles (hang over pho or ramen), but bread is the food of the gods. Nothing can beat the experience of eating fresh bread. The crunchy flakey crust, that after you break open, you reach the warm, soft and sometimes moist with steam, innards. Bread, so damn good. Now that I am done with my ode, I will proceed to my list of Sandwich Joints. Nothing to me beats a sandwich for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack. Any time of day or night, hot or cold, a sandwich will hit the spot. Now, on with the list! |
Red meat is what I like to eat! (8)Red meat, usually in the form of a steak (medium rare please!), is what I really like to eat. This is my list of places that do red meat right. |
My Vietnamese Addiction (7)I am part Vietnamese, and in all honesty, I shouldn't be addicted to my own food, but I am. I ignored my heritage for a while, but recently, have become hooked (like a fiend) to Vietnamese food in all its forms. This is my list and I am always looking for suggestions to add to it! |
September Funtember Adventures (17)September 2011 was a month to remember (kinda hazy but I remembered enough). This month of Funtember Adventures took me to a concert in Mountain View, wave crashing in Honolulu, brewcycling in Portland, and hockey/partying in Vegas. Hopefully these reviews will give you some ideas where to go on your next adventure and have a blast! |
