Undoubtedly my favourite restaurant in Vancouver.
I've tried about 10 different dishes here and none of them disappoint.
The humus is excellent; any chicken or lamb dish is awesome. And the turkish coffee (with cardamom!) is the best I've ever…More »
Simply the best pastries in Vancouver. Everything else he serves (coffee, sandwiches, etc.) are excellent too.
Yes, it's horribly busy and crowded but if you can stand a little discomfort, you will not be disappointed.
During the summer, the passion…More »
It's not the best greek food in Vancouver, but it's definitely the best bang for your buck.
I've tried the chicken souvlaki and lamb -- I've never been disappointed. The staff is very pleasant too

As a self-proclaimed donair/falafel/schwarma connoisseur, I have to say this is the best of its kind in Vancouver. What they do with the bread is nothing short of a miracle. The rest of the ingredients are top-notch and the price is competitive.…More »

Surprised some people here are unhappy with the service. Everyone I've met here is very nice and the food is very good and reasonably priced.
Of course, the nutella banana crepes are awesome, but even their lunch menu is strong -- burgers,…More »
I've gone to this place a few times and never regretted it. The all you can eat (cheapest one) is decent value and the meat is excellent. The service is usually excellent.
If you're really hungry and a true carnivore, this place is tough to beat.

From what I can tell, Ayoub has the best nuts in the city. This guy knows nuts better than anyone else. The hazelnuts and lemon-flavoured almonds are great -- pretty much…More »

Falafel maison is one of my go-to places for lunch at work.
They have really, really good humus, tabolueh and chicken -- making their shawarmas one of the best in the city.
Also, the staff is awesome and they make it a pleasure to visit.

Most definitely the best indian food in the city. I've never had a bad dish at the restaurant, so try anything on the menu and enjoy. It helps too that the decor and atmosphere stand up with the best of the city.
Of course, the waits are long but…More »
