I go to this Sunterra market on nights when I want to cook but I don't want to prepare food. Their meat counter has all kinds of delicious marinated meats and stuffed chicken breasts that you can just bring home and cook. It's quite pricey (usually…More »

I went to the little restaurant in Sunterra market for dinner tonight and I find that it is hit and miss. I have had delicious dinners in there, and other times it is more in the a-ok category. I ordered the half chicken with a side of tomato…More »
I love this restaurant! I have been for dinner about a dozen times -- I keep coming back. The concept is quite different. It almost has a Sunterra Market feel, where your latte comes from one kiosk, your meal comes from another. However, you…More »

I frequent this restaurant quite often, as it is at the base of the tower where I work.
The restaurant has Canada as its theme, with such menu items as the "Gretzky" sandwich and "The Tragically Hip" beef and cheddar sandwich.

The decor and service in Avocado is great! The food i enjoy as well. I have tried a number of dishes there, including burritos, soups and most of the appetizers. The food is pretty consistent as well. You can count on the fact that if you liked a…More »
Nothing better than comfort food while at the hospital. In my mind, hospitals and the urgent care clinics in Calgary are the perfect partnership for a franchise like Good Earth.

I'm a huge fan of this place... I'm sure the whole menu is excellent, but I tend to order my favorite dishes whenever I go.
I start out with the Saladah Shirazi, which is similar to a greek salad without the feta cheese. It has cucumbers, tomatoes…More »

The Iron Goat for me is a "must stop" in Canmore. The food is good, but honestly, that is not the appeal for me. The appeal, is the stunning, STUNNING view!

I go to the Spice Cafe every few months. One of my coworkers (and dear friend) have designated this our favorite lunch spot when we are escaping the office, and do not want to go to a kiosk.

Calgary Companies with Heart (19)These are companies who are outstanding citizens in my eyes, in terms of their generosity to charitable causes. These are companies who are repeatedly been proactive in offering support in terms of raffles, silent auctions, event space or resources. I like supporting businesses that support Calgarians! |
Drive from Calgary to Jasper - one Yelper's perspective (12)I live in Calgary, and enjoy taking a drive to Jasper a few times a year. Jasper for reasons unbeknowst to me, feels like my "home away from home". I love the scenery on the drive, and the hustle and bustle of their gorgeous little town. Check out some of my "must sees", either in Jasper, or on my drive to Jasper from Calgary. Enjoy! |
Health Services in Calgary (9)Even though I am a healthy individual, like all of us, I have needed some assistance from time to time with the odd thing that crops up.Check out this list with my experiences with some of the services I have used in the name of health. |
Calgary Gift Baskets with Flair (3)I have used gift baskets for people who you just aren`t sure what to get them. They are either the person who has everything, or... they are someone who you work with, or do business with. Therefore a more personal gift is tougher to choose.Check out my list for three companies I have done business with in the past. I have used all three companies online, and I have also walked into all three businesses as well for either pickup, or to choose my own pieces. All in all, they all have 4-5 star ratings in my eyes, and they all deliver products with class and flair. These are not the companies you go to for a cheesy balloon arch. Choose these companies to make an impression! |
Grocery Stores a stones throw from Glenmore East (5)I live in Riverbend, and I am blown away by the choices I have in walking distance or a 5 minute drive from my house.Competition is stiff in this area, and I frequent all of them for different reasons. Check out my reviews to find out how I navigate my choices. |
Favorite Breakfast Places in Calgary (7)Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, so it only seems appropriate that I create a list of my favorite breakfast places in the fine city of Calgary |
Yummy Sandwich places (11)If any of you are like Joey's from friends, and are looking for the BEST sandwiches, check it out here! |
Thunder Bay Must-Sees! (5)Thunder Bay is my home town. Even though I am a Calgary girl now, there are some places I just can't resist revisiting when I head home. |
