One of the best coffees in Toronto. The cortado is delicious!
Amazing latte, charming staff and a fantastic patio. This place looks much more pretentious than it is, people were comfortable working on laptops, meeting friends and reading here. A coffee shop worth travelling across town for.
I came across this shop when I was working in the area and thought the only coffee option I had was Second Cup, until I saw the little sandwich board proclaiming 'Jimmy's Coffee' with an arrow. Who was this Jimmy? Where was I headed? It turns out, to…More »

With tv on the radio playing, I tuck into a creamy, rich latte and smile. This latte is very good. The only complaint I have is how damn hot it is in this coffee shop, but then again, it could be the radiant heat from all the MacBooks.
Another hip coffee shop is on the scene but in a neighbourhood that could desperately use a hip-infusion. Just north of Dundas West Station, Hula Girl is a gorgeous space with fantastic coffee. I ordered an Americano and it was just about perfect.
Mercury Organic opened just before the glut of coffee shops was taking over the streets of Toronto. This coffee shop is consistent and makes a delicious latte. The indoor space is a bit cramped, it is a great place to grab a coffee and walk around…More »
Oh, Bisogno. You have been so good to me.
As a former George Brown student, Bisogno was the only good coffee place within walking distance. I would meet friends here for gryfe's bagels and coffee before school, have a latte on break and an americano…More »
I hesitantly entered The Good Neighbour Espresso Bar, feeling as if I was cheating on my favourite coffee shop, Crema, which is located just down the street. The feeling evaporated when I drank their Americano and realized there could be two great…More »

A cool, beautiful space to drink a creamy, rich and smooth latte in. The pumpkin muffin was moist and flavourful. The music was requisitely hip.

White Squirrel is adorable, hip and named after the elusive white squirrel of trinity bellwoods park. The coffee is organic and locally roasted. The snacks are worthwhile and the ice cream is from Greg's, which is pretty good in my books. The most…More »

A new dark horse location on queen west! Barn boards and nifty Edison light bulbs adorn this gorgeous space. Coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is hipster calm. Lovely addition to the queen west coffee landscape.

How had I not known about TGG before? What an adorable, bright, calm coffee shop! The barista was so friendly, the decaf latte with Shannon F was very good, well-poured and good flavour on the espresso (which is often hard with decaf). Separate…More »

What a treat! An Italian cafe through and through - complete with Italian muzak and a rich, creamy espresso that makes me dream of my days in Italy. A selection of pastries include nutella biscotti and the perfect sized canolli. The gelato selection…More »
