Mpls Library Story Times

All Hennepin county libraries host story times for kids, each for a specific age group. They are done by the childrens librarian in residence, and last 30-45 minutes. They are free, and you need to stay with your kids. Quality varies, but some librarians are very fun and very knowledgeable about child development.

Places You Can't Go (13) because they've closed down. Personally, I enjoy knowing what restaurants used to be.	Quiet Places (17) I personally don't like noisy restaurants and bars, I prefer to just relax and talk, without loud music or reverberated chatter getting in the way.
Eat Street (32) The places to eat on Eat Street (going north on Nicollet Ave from the Greenway up to 14th St.).	Entertainment coupon opportunities (19) These are restaurants you can try out, and use the 2 for 1 coupons out of your Entertainment book.
Somali Restaurants (8)	Must be A front for something ilicit (8) These are restaurants where the food is either so bad, the business plan so whacked, or the food good but the dinning room so perpetually empty, that it must be a front for laundering money or selling contraband, because there is no way these places could possibly be bringing in enough money to even begin to cover their costs.
Chicken Tikka Masala (3) It is my wife's favorite thing in the whole world, so when we have Indian, she unfailingly orders chicken tikka masala, and I always try to out for size.	Minneapolis Fire Station Tours (2) Do you know that you can tour any fire station about any time, just call and set it up. A perfect and free outing for a family.
