I really enjoyed this "Birthplace of Montreal" museum.
It's built on the area where Montreal started as a trading post. The museum gives you a cheesy movie of Montreal's history, ok movie just cheesy. You then get to walk through the archaeological…More »
So we wanted a really nice dinner one night. Being from NYC I figured this would set me back about $300-400. Well this place came highly recommended from some fellow Yelpers, so I decided to give it a whirl.
I made a reservation from the hotel and…More »

This place is a palace!
I love the arena. The banners of championship teams, retired numbers, and even the Montreal Expos retired numbers are awe inspiring. There is also a picture of a Canadiens great above every section. I was lucky enough to be…More »

I had a great time at this place.
The bartenders were awesome. I was there for quite a while and had 2 different tenders. Both were really cool, they knew how to keep yoyr drinks filled and were great conversationalists.

So I had to hit the oldest Irish pub in Montreal.
I really liked this place. Multiple levels, old pub feel. They serve food, but I only got beer. Watched a rugby match (France v Wales) with a bunch of hooligans. I like that kind of thing.

Had a wonderful lunch here.
This place is a bit of a puzzle to me. It kind of screams lite classy atmosphere yet hosts a steak and hockey thing for Canadiens games. Odd but I like it.
I had a bit of surf and turf here. Went with the NY Strip and…More »

Very clean, easy to get to airport.
Going back to NY from Montreal was a complete breeze. I literally walked right up to a customs officer, done in minutes. Security was also very quick and they didn't make you feel invaded.

Very fun attraction in Montreal.
It was a cold day, so I had my jacket and a thermal shirt on. Big mistake. As soon as I hit the rain forest area my internal thermometer was done. I was instantly sweating. Taking off my jacket helped, but wow it…More »
First place I went to when we got in to Montreal.
The place looks like a typical chain brewery restaurant. We were seated quite quickly, but that was really all that was quick. I'm not sure if the waitstaff is always this slow or maybe someone…More »
