Whenever we come back home, we make it a point to visit two places that we don't have here in Miami: In'N'Out and Chronic Tacos.
We absolutely LOVE Chronic Tacos and I'm surprised at past reviews. Everytime we've been to Chronic Tacos, the service…More »
For some reason, I base my overall rating of a Mexican restaurant on three things: chips and salsa, carne asada, and the rice. Is that weird? Los Compadres definitely passed all three tests!
My best friend suggested this restaurant for her birthday…More »

When we had the urge to have good Mexican food, but didn't want the greasy (yet SO yummy) kind from Roberto's Taco Shop, we would come to this place.
The decor is very pink, yet exotic and the food in DELICIOUS! The chips and salsas (they provide…More »
This place has become our new lunch spot when we're craving Mexican food! The concept is similar to that of Chipotle, but the food is a million times better!!! It also surpasses Lime Fresh Mexican Grill since it's cheaper and they're not stingy…More »
If you want greasy Mexican food, you have come to the right place! It's so evil in here, yet SO GOOD. We made it part of our midweek lunch place - almost every week! And what did we order every damn week!?!
SUPER CARNE ASADA NACHOS! (no beans)
They…More »
Our first impression when we walked into Salsa Fiesta was "Man, this place is hip and trendy!" The music was pretty loud (I guess that's an indication that my husband and I [who are in our 30s] are getting old and complaining about "them kids and…More »
Mayan Tacos is a great place to get a quick taco fix if you're near the area. The authentic tacos and awesome rice are what keeps us coming back for more - I can eat them for days!!!
The fish tacos are awesome! It can get quite messy when you eat them, but they're so good that you won't mind the mess! The fish is perfectly fried and the creamy slaw on top of the taco is delicious!
The carne asada and al pastor tacos are really…More »
I've been to El Torito Grill several times - their food is excellent and their service is good! And don't expect to find El Torito's menu items here - El Torito Grill's menu items seem healthier than El Torito. They're not drenched in cheese and…More »
On the Border is a mediocre Tex-Mex chain restaurant. You can order anything from enchiladas, taco platters, salads, and anything else you would find at any Tex-Mex joint. The margaritas and chipps & salsa are pretty good, but not the best. The…More »
Don't expect too much from Fiesta Mexican Grill. Yes, it's definitely a cheap place to get Mexican food, but that's about it. The food is okay - not too great, not too horrible.
We ordered the Fiesta Burrito (with steak) and Steak Tacos on flour…More »
El Rancho Grande is a very small, yet cute little restaurant serving Tex-Mex style food. The service was excellent and the food arrived in no time; however, the food was a little on the bland side.
We ordered a Mango Margarita (blended), chicken and…More »
As a California girl who considers herself a Mexican food snob, this place is definitely NOT the spot for authentic Mexican Food.
First impression - we walked into the restaurant and we actually thought that they were in the middle of construction.…More »
