A new fav on the Danforth! (Thank you big tall Greek boy for the recommendation!)
The food quality here is amazing. Today I met the girls for lunch and we shared a few things. The gigantes beans were delicious, even better than most of the ones I had…More »

My 400th review goes to the Pantheon Restaurant!
For some reason, despite my big love for Greek cuisine and the Danforth in general, I have never eaten at Pantheon until recently.
Apparently I have been missing out because I was truly impressed with…More »

*OOOOOOOOOOOOooooouzeri*
Solid 4.5 star, but 5 star during Winterlicious, Summerlicious or whenever they are offering a prix-fixe menu (which is quite often).
Ouzeri has become my new favourite Greek place on the Danforth. I have been here 5-6 times…More »

This is the best Greek specific food store in Greek town (and I've been in them all!) Go-to place if you are trying out Greek recipes and need to find obscure ingredients. They have all the imports direct from Greece.
First off, the owner is a real…More »
Serano Bakery is a short walk north of Pape station on the west side. One of my Greek friends told me to go here in search of loukoumades.
There is much more to it here than an actual bakery. The right hand shop is a bakery but to the left there is a…More »

I have found the BEST LAMBCHOPS ever at Athens Restaurant. If you are a lambchop fan, it's worth a trip here for the chops. OMFG!
Athens Restaurant is a family owned taverna style dining spot. The patrons here are pretty much all local old Greek…More »

SWEET DELICIOUS STICKY BALLS!
A DOZEN Loukoumades for THREE dollars = cheap way to get fat very quickly!
Loukoumades are deep fried balls of pastry dough soaked in honey. Usually topped with cinnamon and sometimes sesame.
Three of these will wreck…More »

Pan on the Danforth does a $15 set lunch and $25 set dinner for Winterlicious. We tried out the $25 set dinner and were not disappointed.
This place is right next to Ouzeri (my usual Greek go-to during Winter/Summerlicious) but I was intrigued by…More »

This place is freakin OUT OF CONTROL!
Had I not just eaten a ridiculously huge meal at Ouzeri, I would have been doing some major sampling here.
Athena has the widest variety of Greek pastries and treats I've ever seen. All sorts of goodies piled so…More »

3.75 star? (Is that possible? ha!)
Arkadia House is located somewhere in the middle of nowhere. The owners are from Cyprus (according to moro mu) and the menu is quite authentic Greek food.
It's much more spacious than your average Greektown…More »

Kalyvia is an OK pick on the Danforth, it has some Greek dishes that are tricky to find elsewhere nearby. (sigh)
I suggest ordering off the appetizers/mezes menu and sharing. The food is much more interesting than the boring mains (souvlaki and rice,…More »

More pies please!
Moro mu sent me in here to purchase some Greek style pies. I sampled the spanokopita (spinach pie), tyropita (cheese pie) and BOUGATSA! (custard pie). All delicious and were only $3.18 per giant slice.
They also sell salads, Greek…More »

(3.5 star) A Greek restaurant outside of the Danforth? Sure, why not.
I took a VIP client for a holiday luncheon here. The place was hopping at 1pm on a Wednesday. Interior is quite spacious with lots of seating. Decor seemed very functionary - I…More »

This used to be my go-to Greek place on the Danforth.
Not because the food is the best, but the food is decent, portions are reasonable and it's cheaper than most of the other options in the area.
They have a fairly large patio which is great in the…More »

I chose this place mainly because they had a small sunny patio in a plaza right next to a water fountain and stage area, a nice European feel!
Unfortunately, after eating there, I can't find much else to recommend about the place. Maybe stick to the…More »

2.5 stars. Total meh!
The only reason to really go here is for the patio. It's large and seems to catch the last of the evening sun during dinner time. I assume this is why it's the most sought after restaurant on the Danforth, it is always packed.

1.5 star?
We should have listened to the other Yelp reviews, but Eric L and I were hungry and this was one of the only places that had tables available (now we know why!)
